Blockchain and distributed ledger technology are changing our economy, particularly in the highly regulated areas of investments and digital commerce. These technologies will continue to raise new legal issues for the courts, and our panel will feature leading lawyers and experts on these emerging technologies. In particular, the panel will address emerging issues that federal courts are starting to confront regarding blockchain and distributed ledger technology. The panel will also discuss how courts are applying existing legal frameworks and principles to these new technologies.
